Refunds and right of withdrawal

What the law gives you, what changes when you download Reeve, and how to get money back when you switch from another dictation app.

Your 14-day right of withdrawal

If you buy as a consumer in the EU, you normally have 14 days from the purchase to cancel a contract bought online, without giving a reason.

Reeve is digital content delivered as a download. For digital content, the right of withdrawal ends once delivery has started, if you agreed to delivery starting right away and confirmed that you understand you then lose the right of withdrawal. In practice:

If Reeve does not work on your Mac

If Reeve does not run on your Mac even though it meets the requirements (Apple Silicon, macOS 14 or later), reply to your Stripe receipt within 14 days of purchase. We will try to fix it with you, and if we cannot, we refund you.

How to ask for a refund

Reply to your Stripe receipt and say that you want to withdraw or get a refund. You can also use the standard EU withdrawal form, but a plain message is enough. Refunds go back to the card you paid with, normally within 14 days of your message. A full refund ends your licence, and Reeve stops dictating on the Macs it was activated on.

Switching discount

If you pay for another dictation app, we give part of the price back after you switch:

You have paid the other app forBack from usReeve then costs
1 to 5 months$5$14
6 months or more$10$9
  1. Buy Reeve.
  2. Reply to your Stripe receipt with a screenshot or invoice that shows your plan with the other app and how long you have paid for it.
  3. We check it and refund the amount to your card, minus the card processing fee.

The discount applies to paid dictation apps only, once per purchase. It is a partial refund, so your licence keeps working.
